As Head of Investor Relations at Vireo Ventures, Katharina leads LP relations, fundraising and the fund’s positioning across the European energy tech ecosystem. She brings deep expertise in how narratives shape valuations, fundraising and legitimacy — treating communication as infrastructure for capital.

Prior to joining Vireo Ventures, Katharina was Head of Communication & Platform at AENU, a €170M Article 9 climate tech fund, where she was the first communications hire and built the firm’s communications architecture across 40+ portfolio companies. She also serves as Chair of the Board at Climate Tech Hub e.V., one of Germany’s leading renewable energy and climate innovation networks with 20+ institutional members, and sits on the Board of Advisors at the Global Impact Capital Alliance (GICA).

Katharina has spent over 10 years at the intersection of venture capital, media and the energy transition — as a business columnist, as an international speaker and moderator, and as a former Researcher at the Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG). She holds an MSc in Economics from ESCP Business School and a BA in Philosophy from Freie Universität Berlin.
